One day, Bill Gates was standing on a street corner, watching the clouds roll by. Absentmindedly, he dropped a $1,000 bill out of his pocket. A bystander noticed and said, “Are you going to pick that up?”
Well after having the last pick (as usual) we are 2-1. Not too bad considering that we lost to the money winner for week 3.
In the past 5 years we
’ve seen an increasing trend of designers using a hand drawn style on their websites. Here are some great examples of the use of a hand drawn style in web design.
In August 2007 Fox and NBC teamed up to make a “YouTube Killer” that was dubbed “ClownCo.” by the blogosphere and was the laughing stock of the online world. “To me, this is the way media always should have been,” says Hulu CEO Jason Kilar, and now it looks like Kilar and Hulu might be having the last laugh ….
Don LaFontaine, the man who provided the sonorous voice for more than 5,000 movie trailers, died Monday at age 68.
LaFontaine died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles of complications from a collapsed lung. He had been taken to the hospital Aug. 22 with a blood clot in the lung.
