Man who coined “Super Bowl” dies

Lamar Hunt, one of America’s most innovative sports entrepreneurs of the last half-century, died Wednesday night. He was 74. Hunt’s 1963 decision to move his AFL franchise here to become the Kansas City Chiefs helped make the region a major-league community.
