Whats the big appeal of Twitter?

I just snagged twitterfon for the iPhone a while ago and started adding people to it. Not too bad except you only get 100 updates an hour and I guess looking at a tweet counts as an update. Oh well. Will keep trying it to see if it’s actually worth spending time on. Way too busy with the TWIRP project but will see of it helps me stay in touch. On yeah, I’m posting this via my iPhone too. Too lazy to go get on the ‘puter I guess.
